Medical Disclaimer
Brahm RX is a decision-support and learning tool for qualified homeopathic practitioners. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not replace a practitioner's examination and judgement.
In an emergency, do not use this software. Call 112 (or 108 for an ambulance) or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
1. Who this software is for
Brahm RX is intended for registered homeopathic practitioners and for trained clinic staff working under their supervision. It is designed to support case analysis and to help practitioners learn.
It is not intended for patients or members of the public to diagnose themselves, choose medicines for themselves or others, or decide whether to seek medical care.
2. Not medical advice
Nothing in Brahm RX — including remedy rankings, scores, keynotes, "Samjhao" explanations, safety alerts or any other content — is medical advice, a diagnosis or a prescription. Using the software does not create a doctor–patient relationship between us and anyone. Clinical care is the relationship between the patient and their treating practitioner.
3. How suggestions are produced, and their limits
The prescriber compares the answers entered for a condition with a curated set of questions and remedies drawn from homeopathic literature, and ranks remedies by a weighted score. Please keep in mind:
- Results depend on the answers. Incomplete, rushed or inaccurate answers will produce misleading rankings.
- A ranking is a pointer, not a prescription. The top result may not be the right remedy for the patient, and the right remedy may not appear at all.
- Coverage is limited. Each condition includes a finite set of questions and remedies; some remedies are represented by only a few questions and may rarely be suggested.
- The order of questions varies between sessions, and the number of questions asked is limited, so two sessions for similar patients may not look identical.
- No clear result means more information is needed — not that no remedy is indicated.
- We continually revise questions, remedies and scoring, so results for the same answers can change over time.
We make no promise that any suggestion is accurate, complete or appropriate for a particular patient.
4. The practitioner's responsibility
The treating practitioner alone is responsible for:
- full case-taking, clinical examination and diagnosis, including any investigations needed;
- the final choice of remedy, potency, dose, repetition and duration;
- considering the patient's history, other medicines, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, age and overall condition;
- recognising when a patient needs urgent or specialist care and referring them without delay;
- follow-up, and changing or stopping treatment when needed;
- obtaining the patient's informed consent and keeping proper records;
- practising within the law and the regulations of the National Commission for Homoeopathy and any other authority that applies to them.
5. Emergencies and warning signs
For some conditions Brahm RX shows a "Safety first" alert describing warning signs that need urgent medical attention. These alerts are reminders only:
- they are not complete — many serious conditions and warning signs are not listed;
- the absence of an alert does not mean a situation is safe or suitable for homeopathic treatment alone;
- they never replace clinical examination or the practitioner's judgement.
If a patient has signs such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting, sudden weakness or numbness, severe bleeding, a seizure, high fever in an infant, severe dehydration, or thoughts of self-harm, arrange emergency care immediately — call 112 or 108. For mental-health support in India, Tele-MANAS is available at 14416.
6. Serious and long-term conditions
For conditions such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, kidney or liver disease, epilepsy, thyroid disorders, serious infections, and for pregnancy, newborns, children and the elderly, homeopathy should be used only under appropriate medical supervision.
- Pages marked "supportive" or "adjunct" offer complementary support alongside the patient's main treatment, never instead of it.
- Patients should not stop, reduce or change medicines prescribed by their doctor without that doctor's advice.
- Practitioners should work with the patient's treating specialists where a condition is serious or worsening.
7. No claims of cure
Nothing in Brahm RX is a claim or guarantee that any remedy will cure, treat, relieve or prevent any disease or condition. Responses to treatment vary from person to person. Descriptions of remedies and conditions are drawn from homeopathic literature for professional reference.
8. Accuracy of content
We work to keep content accurate, but it may contain errors, omissions or out-of-date information. Hindi and English wording may not match exactly; where they differ, use professional judgement and the source literature. If you find an error, please tell us at info@brahmhomeo.com so we can correct it.
9. If you are a patient
Please do not take or change any medicine based on something you saw in this software. Discuss your symptoms and treatment with your practitioner, and seek emergency care whenever you feel it may be needed.
